Norman Shawchuck, Ph.D ROI Marketing Norman Shawchuck, Ph.D. is an author and consultant for nonprofit and spiritual organizations. He is the author of nearly 20 books on the subjects of spirituality, conflict management, and leadership, including Marketing for Congregations. Dr. Shawchuck earned his M. Div. from the Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary and his PhD in Organizational Systems from Northwestern University.
David Altshuler Contemporary Technology David Altshuler is Executive Director of TCN. David is responsible for all aspects of TCN's telecommunications and technology products and services. Previously, David was President and Chief Technical Officer of Mutual Analytics, a finance and computer technology consulting firm whose clients included Merrill/Lynch, Goldman/Sachs, and the Calvert Group. In addition to his industry and non-profit experience, David is the 1999-2000 Irey Grant Lecturer in Business Law at The Law School at the University of Pennsylvania. He has also taught at The Wharton School and at the Aresty Institute. David is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and he holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from Williams College and The Wharton School respectively.
Paul B. Kazarian Contemporary Financial Engineering Paul B. Kazarian is the Founding and Managing Partner of Japonica Partners, a Providence based investment firm whose major efforts included the $1.6 billion tender offer for Chicago Northwestern Corp. in 1989, the $630 million acquisition of Allegheny International in 1990, the initial public offering of Sunbeam-Oster valued at up to $1.5 billion, and the 1994 $2.6 billion proposal to rebuild Borden, the troubled consumer products giant. Prior to founding Japonica in 1987, Paul was an Investment Banker for seven years at Goldman, Sachs & Co., where his clients included Borg-Warner, IC Industries and the United States Department of Transportation. Business has long been in Paul's blood as evidenced by his father and his two brothers (George and Jerry) running the family business, City Oil Co., which originally was founded by his grandfather, Charles. Paul is a graduate of Bates College and received his MA from Brown University and his MBA from Columbia University. Born in Pawtucket, he continues to make Rhode Island his home.
